A syndicate operated on the Cosmatanic Steppes during the Age of the Empire. Soo-Tath and his brother were both members of the syndicate. The rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Aphra loaned credits from the syndicate in order to rebuild her starship, the Ark Angel II.[1]
