Spanner was a clone trooper corporal who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. They were stationed in the Jedi Temple hangar with Sergeant Joker. The sergeant often told jokes to pass the time, which Spanner often did not understand. The two clones also served on the Iceberg Three Republic outpost during the Mission to Iceberg Three.
