Spice tanker docked inside Ship
A spice tanker was a craft used to transport spice along trade routes. Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa used one to secretly transport medical supplies for the Rebel Alliance but were intercepted by an Imperial Star Destroyer. As they tried to make the jump to hyperspace, the ship was damaged, and the craft traveled beyond the galaxy into the intergalactic void, where they encountered the living spacecraft known as Ship. Ship eventually repaired their tanker and returned the pair back to their home galaxy to continue their mission.
Spice tankers had been used for millennia by the ruling authorities of Kessel to transport glitterstim to all parts of the galaxy.
