Stren Colo was a Human male Imperial officer who lived during the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

"Listen, these are local bounties, the small stuff. Some work crews want pesky creature killed or somebody is cheated at sabacc and wants a discount hit... they come here. For a real bounty, go find a Galaxy BH terminal."

After the Battle of Yavin, he was stationed in Kachirho on the forest planet of Kashyyyk. Colo worked at the Kachirho Starport as an Imperial bounty officer; his job was to post and redeem bounties.

During that time, he was contacted by the bartender Tien Wallub who placed a bounty on a the Trandoshan Jessk who had been catch cheating at sabacc. In the meantime, Belga Daeri, a spaceport official, placed a bounty on Dorn Nareusu, a pirate who had destroyed several transport ships in the Kashyyyk system. Jessk was later shot down on the planet Tatooine while Dorn Nareusu was killed in a space battle above Kashyyyk. Stren Colo eventually rewarded the bounty hunters for their work, 12,000 credits for Jessk the Trandoshan and 10,000 credits for Dorn Nareusu the Human.

Around the same time, a strange disease afflicted a number of Wookiee around Kachirho. The illness gave rise to a madness which compelled the anguished Wookiees to attack anyone who approached them. As these Wookiees began to become dangerous, the Galactic Empire issued bounties for the insane Wookiees. A woman concerned by the situation named Sera Jossi therefore encouraged a number of spacers to hunt crazy Wookiees and claim the Imperial bounties. The spacers returned the mad Wookiee teeth as proof of the deed and Stren Colo rewarded 1000 credits per wookiee destroyed.

Behind the scenes

Stren Colo appeared as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. Stren Colo was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Rage of the Wookiees on May 5, 2005.
