Tao was a male Human general of the Galactic Republic during the Cold War with the reconstituted Sith Empire. In 3643 BBY, his forces landed on the Imperial-occupied Balmorra and attempted to stage an assault on the Sundari Flatlands area where the Balmorran Arms Factory was located. However, their effort was thwarted by the Empire, and Tao was killed during the fighting.
