Jedi Quest: The Final Showdown is the tenth in a series of young reader novels that chronicle the adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker between Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.

This book features a journey to Korriban to stop Granta Omega, an enemy of the Jedi, along with Jenna Zan Arbor, an evil scientist, from meeting a dangerous Sith. The Jedi meet many perils, including ancient visions, an entire army, and the dangers of the Valley of the Dark Lords. The Final Showdown, written by Jude Watson brings one, debatable outcome:

Is an uneasily obtained success worth a loss that could have been avoided?
