"Just don't let it go offline, Threepwood. I'm counting on you."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi to Threepwood[1]

Threepwood was a clone trooper who served in the 212th Attack Battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic. Around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, he went to Juma 9 with Obi-Wan Kenobi to free the station of the Separatists' battle droids.

Biography[]

A clone of bounty hunter Jango Fett,[2] the clone trooper nicknamed "Threepwood" was born on the planet Kamino and bred to fight in the Grand Army of the Republic.[2] During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Threepwood served under Clone Commander Cody in the Republic's 212th Attack Battalion.

During the Clone Wars, sometime after the Battle of Ryloth, the enemy forces of the Separatist Droid Army learned of the existence of a powerful weapon that could destroy the Republic. The Republic learned of this too, and sent several Jedi with their clone forces to stop them.

Threepwood ventured with General Obi-Wan Kenobi to liberate the outpost Juma 9 from the Separatists, in an attempt to learn more of this weapon. Threepwood took it upon himself to repair and guard the communications array of the station, as the Separatist droids had sabotaged it when the Republic attacked.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Threepwood's nickname is identical to the surname of Guybrush Threepwood, the main protagonist of the Monkey Island series of games, also created by LucasArts.
