AZ 77 was a Rebel XQ3 Platform.
History[]
During the Galactic Civil War, Imperial Naval forces led by frigate Implacable attacked platform AZ 77 in hopes to lure Rebel Alliance MC40a light cruiser Ardent into an ambush. Just as the attack started, a YT-1300 transport Neenoc attempted to escape. Despite being defended by Z-95 Headhunters and a System Patrol Craft Derdmin, the platform was destroyed. The plan worked and the Ardent arrived with X-wings and Y-wings to retaliate, but the Ardent and the fighters were destroyed in the battle.
The battle was then recreated and used in training simulators for TIE Interceptor pilots, including Maarek Stele.
