Filla was a female lieutenant in the New Republic Defense Fleet during the Galactic Civil War. In 6.5 ABY, Filla was serving as the aide of Admiral Ackbar,[1] the Supreme Commander of the New Republic Defense Forces,[2] on the planet Folor. When Ackbar was in a meeting with General Horton Salm and Commander Wedge Antilles regarding the reformation of Rogue Squadron, the Mon Calamari Admiral asked Filla to find Captain Tycho Celchu and bring him to the Admiral's office. At the time, Captain Celchu was in the base's flight simulator complex helping train the recruits. Filla brought Celchu to Ackbar's office and was dismissed before they continued their meeting.[1]

Filla was a female who had risen to the rank of lieutenant in the New Republic Defense Fleet by 6.5 ABY, serving as the aide[1] of the Supreme Commander of the New Republic Defense Forces,[2] Admiral Ackbar.[1]
