Finn's unnamed apprentice was a male Chalactan. He wore the Greater Mark of Illumination, suggesting he was a Chalactan Adept.

He accompanied his Sith master to an Outer Rim Territories planet for a reason unknown to him. He showed both a fiery temper and unusual (for a Sith) compassion when he executed a Toydarian named Lod for beating a Force-sensitive girl named Marka. As he returned with his master to their ship, he sensed Marka still following them. Marka took the apprentice's lightsaber, shoved him off the landing platform, and became Finn's new protégé.

Though this character's only appearance apparently occurs while the Sith followed Darth Bane's Rule of Two, it cannot be said for certain when he lived. The author of the story has indicated that it was set shortly before the time of Darth Plagueis.[source?]
