Firaxan sharks were a type of shark.[1] By 22 BBY,[2] the Jedi Padawan Iskat Akaris had a polished firaxan shark tooth attached to the end of her first lightsaber. She made use of the lightsaber throughout the Clone Wars, but it was eventually destroyed by the Sith Lord Darth Vader shortly after Akaris joined the Inquisitorius.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the current Star Wars canon, the tooth of a firaxan shark appeared in Delilah S. Dawson's 2023 novel Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade.[1] The sharks originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared in the 2003 BioWare video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.[3]
