A Firaxan shark fillet was a type of meat, considered seafood, used in the restaurateur Dexter Jettster's eatery, Dex's Diner.[1] The establishment on the planet of Coruscant was later destroyed in 19 BBY.[2] The fillet was served grilled on his Manaan slider, a slider inspired by his exploits on the planet of Manaan that substitued one for the Mongo Beefhead patty he used in his other slider recipes.[1]

A Firaxan shark fillet is mentioned in a Star Wars Hyperspace-exclusive release, Dining at Dex's by Gregory Walker, which represents the in-universe menu of Dex's Diner. Created for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003), Firaxan sharks are sea creatures that do exist in the Star Wars galaxy. Only a nominal connection between them and the fillet is established in Walker's work. The author did intentionally reference myriad aspects of Star Wars in his work.[3]
