The Firearc49 Speargun was a model of blaster speargun manufactured by BlasTech Industries and marketed to the Galactic Empire as an underwater assault weapon. The weapon was a long metal pipe capable of shooting small spears underwater to a distance as far as fifty meters. A small blaster was located beneath the spear barrel. The speargun held one spear at a time, with room for two more to be clipped on the side. The blaster's ammunition pack lasted fifty shots. A quiver could be carried by the wielder to carry additional spears. The seatrooper garrison on the planet Spira was equipped with this model of weapon.[1]
