The First Battle of Balmorra took place during the Galactic Civil War.

Kasan Moor supplied the Rebel Alliance with information on a walker factory on the planet Balmorra. Piloting T-47 airspeeders, Luke Skywalker and Rogue Squadron sneaked into the facility by destroying security radar dishes.

Being a surprise attack, the battle was unorganized for the Galactic Empire. TIE Fighters were destroyed before they could take off, and Lambda-class shuttles exploded during lift-off. The Empire couldn't launch a strong defense force.

Luke and Rogue Squadron blew up the AT-ST factory, and Wes Janson managed to destroy an AT-AT factory, winning the battle. Though it didn't halt the walker production on the planet, it crippled them at the time.
