The First Battle of Borleias was a battle of 27 ABY, during the Yuuzhan Vong War. As part of Tsavong Lah's Battle Plan Coruscant, Yuuzhan Vong forces took Borleias to use as a staging area for the attack on Coruscant, enabling them to bypass the Bilbringi Shipyards. During the battle, they planted dovin basals on the Blackmoon, using a variant of the Yo'Gand's Core tactic to sweep up the planet's orbital defense platforms over the course of its 32-hour orbit.

As a result of the attack, Chief of State Borsk Fey'lya ordered all New Republic Defense Force officers to coordinate with the New Jedi Order. During the battle, Tsavong Lah received his radank arm from Vaecta.
