The First Battle of Corsin was fought during the New Republic liberation campaign following the Battle of Endor. It was the first engagement between the New Republic and Warlord Zsinj.[1] After the decisive Battle of Colla, the New Republic send a task force to liberate Corsin in order to secure a front on the Hydian Way. The Imperial abandoned the Obroa system due to the progress of the new Republic forces. However, they were defeated by Grand Admiral Zsinj. Corsin was eventually freed two years later.[1]
