The Second Battle of Thyferra was a battle during the Galactic Civil War. The battle would be the final action by Moff Kohl Seerdon's campaign against the Rebel Alliance's bacta supply.

[edit] The Battle
After using an Imperial base on Sullust as a diversion for Rogue Squadron, Moff Seerdon secretly broke through defenses on Thyferra and invaded the bacta facility in an attempt to stop bacta from reaching the Rebel Alliance.
Rogue Squadron quickly discovered this and deployed to Thyferra to recapture the bacta supplies. A fierce battle took place, in which the Rogues succeeded in driving the Imperial forces off the planet, with some minimal civilian casualties.
As the battle came to a conclusion; however, Moff Seerdon personally joined the battle in his custom Sentinel-class landing craft. In a ferocious air duel, Luke Skywalker was able to best Seerdon and shoot him down, killing him instantly. The remaining Imperial forces withdrew from the planet.
