HistoryEdit

The Legions of Lettow was first established by dissident Jedi who believed that true power was achieved not through pensive meditation, as taught by their Jedi Masters, but through emotion. The tension between the Jedi and these dissident fallen Jedi, led by General Xendor and his lover Arden Lyn, grew until conflict erupted. The Battles of the conflict included a strike at Coruscant, and Ossus, and subsequent battles and duels on the Perlemian Trade Route. They ended when Xendor was slain at the Battle of Columus, and Awdrysta Pina stopped Arden Lyn's heart. The other Dark Jedi were also exterminated.

BattlesEdit

The war appears to have began with the Battle of Ossus, which presumably ended in a Jedi victory. After that, the Legions struck at Coruscant, some historians have theorized from Metellos and Brentaal, because the battles erupted there next. Why the final battle, in which Xendor was killed, was at Columus is not clear, but if the Jedi had taken the planet Lolnar then Columus would have been the final world before Lettow, the Legion's headquarters.

Behind the scenesEdit

For many years, it was believed that the First Great Schism was the event that resulted in the formation of the Sith Order, with Naga Sadow's entry in The New Essential Guide to Characters somewhat confirming that, saying that Sadow was the first Sith Lord in 20,000 years to reestablish contact with the Republic. However, Lucasfilm had intended the Hundred-Year Darkness as the event which lead to the establishment of the Sith Order, and was retconned as such in The New Essential Chronology. Dan Wallace, who worked on both projects, has since stated that the Naga Sadow entry was an error.
