However a Republic fleet appareaded and defeated the sith starships conquering the planet and forcing Gravus to retreat for the moment, weakening his position in front of the Dark Council. After was fought a second battle here that saw the Empire reclaimed the planet but also the death of Darth Gravus on the hand of a rival sith Lord, Darth Karrid.
