Fist was a planet aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars where the Confederacy had a factory there to develop phrik. In 21 BBY, Omega Squad was tasked with destroying the facility which had been previously located by one of the Nulls. Before setting out on the mission, Omega had been gifted their matte black armor which proved pointless on Fist, as it was a snow covered world.
