The Five Families of Cestus Cybernetics consisted of five politically powerful families on the planet Ord Cestus. They ruled the planet following the decline of the X'Ting population, and any one member could veto any business proposition on the planet.

They were killed when the ARC Trooper A-98 sacrificed himself by transmitting his beacon location from within their private bunker to Republic vessels in orbit, who proceeded to fire on and destroy the bunker. Afterwards, a planetary regent took their place.
