Fiver was Anakin Solo's modified R7 astromech droid a year into the war with the Yuuzhan Vong. When the Peace Brigade attacked the Jedi praxeum at Yavin 4 a little over a year into the invasion, Fiver flew Anakin's X-Wing to distract the Brigade.

Fiver managed to fly the damaged X-Wing back to Anakin, and boarded the transport Anakin had fixed up. Fiver was aboard the transport when Anakin and Tahiri Veila prepared to make their escape.

Fiver served as Anakin's astromech in battles at Duro, Yavin, and Froz.

It is possible that this droid was named in reference to Fiver, a major character in Richard Adams' popular novel, Watership Down.
