Flame Night was a term used to describe an operation undertaken by the Galactic Empire against Force-sensitives living on Coruscant during the early days of the Great Jedi Purge. The operation, conducted at night, was one of the Inquisitorius's first; it involved the killing of numerous Force-sensitives in an effort to extinguish future threats to Imperial rule and lure survivors of Order 66 out of hiding and into an ambush. The Inquisitors succeeded in their objectives and received high praise from Emperor Palpatine for their work.
