Fire grenades were a special type of hand grenade that released a quick burst of an incendiary agent which was very quick to ignite. The burns generally incapacitated the victims for a short while, but tough or well protected targets were known to ignore them. Such was the case with Jedi Sentinels^[1] and soldiers with many years of experience, like Canderous Ordo, the first leader of the Mandalorians following the Mandalorian Wars.^[2]

A Special Fire Grenade was found by Revan in Naga Sadow's tomb on Korriban, during his quest for the Star Forge.

In the video game Knights of the Old Republic, the player can use the Special Fire Grenade on a pool of acid. The result would be death by noxious fumes.
