Flash training (also called Flash learning or Flash instruction) was the technique of using holographic flashes to instruct young clones.
Flash training was the first stage of training a clone underwent, it was given to all clones. Flash training could be used to teach subjects, or to impart 'memories', if a clone was intended to be an exact replicate of a person. Flash learning was used heavily on the clones of Jango Fett for the Grand Army of the Republic, to teach them combat tactics, and other things useful to them, especially as they had advanced growth.
The Empire also used flash learning for their clones, most notably the clone of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
