Fleet Command was the command section of the Alliance Fleet, New Republic Defense Fleet, and Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet. It consisted of the top officers in the naval service, ranging from the Admiral of the Fleet to the lowest flag officer. During the Galactic Civil War, Admiral Ackbar was its head. Beneath Command were four main branches; the Line Admirals, Starfighter Command, Fleet Intelligence, and Ordnance and Support.
