Behind the scenesEdit
A floonorp first appeared as a prop in the film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, which was released on May 19, 1999. The prop was not named in the film, but received identification in the Star Wars Legends reference book Star Wars: Episode I The Visual Dictionary, which was written by David West Reynolds and released on May 26, 1999. The name was then confirmed to be canon by the reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia, which was written by Adam Bray, Tricia Barr and Cole Horton and released on April 4, 2017.
