Fo Kuna was the aide of Senator Zo Howler during the Separatist Crisis. Both Kuna and Howler were of the Anx species. At Gravlex Med Kuna served under Howler, and after the retirement of Senator Horox Ryyder, the former Senator personally named Howler and Kuna his successors. Kuna and Howler both attended Ryyder's farewell ceremony at Ozlyn Gox.
