"I'm sure that extra ten percent efficiency would have been useful at the Battle of Foerost!"
―An Imperial ensign mentions Foerost to Tabor Seitaron[src]

Foerost was a location where the Imperial Captain Tabor Seitaron participated in a battle at some point prior to the Siege of Inyusu Tor during the Galactic Civil War. While showing Seitaron around the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Herald, an Imperial ensign commented on how the Herald's ten percent increase in efficiency might have been useful at the Battle of Foerost.[2] Prior to the Battle of Scarif, the Drabatan Paodok'Draba'Takat carried out a demolitions job on Foerost which involved taking out a communications tower similar to the one on Scarif.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Foerost first appeared in the Star Wars Legends comic book Tales of the Jedi: The Sith War 1: Edge of the Whirlwind, which was written by Kevin J. Anderson and released in 1995. It was confirmed to be canon when it received mention in the novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, which was written by Alexander Freed and released in 2015.
