The force bar was a crowbar with a tip that employed a vibrogenerator, which provided energy to a vibro-edged head with a stun module. When the vibro-edge was set to maximum it could rip through steel bulkheads easily, and was used for many engineering and repair applications.

It should be noted that force bars were not related to the Force.
