Formos, originally known as Xolach, was a world in the Kessel sector.

HistoryEdit

Formos was a member-world of Xim's empire before its collapse in 25,100 BBY.^[3] It became a smuggling haven that was located near Kessel and its infamous spice mines.^[2]

Late in the Clone Wars, the planet was heavily contested until a Separatist victory was achieved due to the use of the Scorpenek annihilator droids.^[4] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Imperial officer Quirt would collect criminals off of the streets of Formos and ship them off to Kessel to work in the mines there.^[2]

The planet had a spaceport, but outside the smuggling aspect, had little to offer visitors.^[2]
