Fort Bestine was an Imperial garrison which sat ontop a mountain overlooking the capital of Bestine

The fort was completed by 1 ABY, and it served as a base of operations for the Empire in the city. It garnered the support of Victor Visalis, the Officer of Defense who sought to protect Bestine from various entities, such as bandits and Tusken Raiders.

Pfilbee Jhorn was stationed at this garrison as a janitor, hiring a spacer to exterminate certain animals for him. An Imperial Recruiter, Captain Jasha and Caleb Knolar also operated out of this fort.

In the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, the fort does not have an actual name, but has the common nickname of "Fort Bestine."
