The Kira Fortress was a fortress in the wilderness of Onderon owned by the House of Kira. It was located far from Iziz and one hundred kilometers from the Shatoon Monastery.

HistoryEdit

During the Freedon Nadd Uprising, a group of Jedi including Ulic Qel-Droma, were trapped inside by the Naddists.

Leia Organa Solo took refuge there in 11 ABY to protect her children from Emperor Palpatine. When Palpatine arrived to take the children, he was killed by Han Solo. His spirit was finished off by Empatojayos Brand,^[1] and the stronghold became the location of Palpatine's final death.
