Fortune and Glory was a yacht owned by the Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka which bore his symbol during the Clone Wars.
History
Edit
Fortune and Glory was a yacht owned by Hondo Ohnaka, leader of the pirate Ohnaka Gang.[2] The starship bore his symbol during the Clone Wars.[1] Around 20 BBY,[3] Ohnaka used the starship to deliver missile launchers to the Onderon rebels, who were fighting King Sanjay Rash and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] The yacht was later kept in a hidden hangar in a canyon near Hondo Ohnaka's pirate outpost.[4]
Behind the scenes
Edit
The Fortune and Glory first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season Five episode Tipping Points. The ship's concept art was designed by Wayne Lo.[1]
"Fortune and Glory" is a reference to the film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, in which Indiana Jones and Short Round say they're after "fortune and glory."[1]
