I was thinking there could be an Alias section on an infobox. For example, on Mara Jade's infobox the alias could be Arica, and Leia could be Boushh, Obi-wan is Ben Kenobi, etc. General Mandofett Wrist HoloprojectorJaingHead 15:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I threw together two possibilities, which you can see at the side. Honestly, I don't like either and think this information should stay in the main article. —Xwing328(Talk) 17:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I like the lower of the two. I think it makes a lot of sense to include them. Having it right under the image looks more odd (and more criminal). The only downside I see is that some characters would have way, way too many -- if we define "alias" as "any time somebody uses another name." Gonk 17:52, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I'm with Xwing328 on this. I think we should keep infoboxes uncluttered. —Silly Dan

        • Do you realize how many dozens of aliases Han Solo has used? You could fill up a whole article with them. That's just really not infobox material. Why do people want to throw everything and the kitchen sink into the infoboxes? Do they think that the article is just there for show and you shouldn't actually have to read it? • Yeah, it would take up a lot of space. Then some kind of separate alias infobox would probably be better. KEJ 21:06, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

You know, we could also have the characters titles in the infobox, too. Like such (I changed the infobox a little.) .... 22:01, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Aside from the same problem of looking cluttered, we then also get back into the whole "What title do we use?" question. Princess? Senator? Minister of State? Chief of State? Ambassador? Jedi Knight? No, I think we've got anything and everything pertinent in the infoboxes already. Wildyoda 22:05, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Good point. —Xwing328(Talk) 23:34, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
      • To answer the question, use the highest, and most recent rank. Jedi Knight does not lend itself to a title of adress, and she holds no political position in the GFFA at the "current" point of time in the story, so she is merely Princess. If that. .... 00:06, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
