Celebration IV > Bomb Threat

Exactly what's the full scoop on this? I was at CIV, but not much was told to me. I was just basking in Star Wars' glory. TheNewDarthMalevlent(The Sith shall rise to power!) 00:21, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

  • I heard rumors of one on Friday, but that was all. -- Riffsyphon1024 03:29, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
    • There was an unknown package left at the main party on...uh...Friday, I think...and because of that, the party was closed down and people were sent home while it was investigated by the LAPD...turned out it wasn't a bomb. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 16:57, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
      • The first I heard of this was the day after, before Kersh's panel. Jay Laga'aia was making some joke about the mysterious package being a "Hasbro" or something. -- Ozzel 21:30, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
        • Apparently we were all eating at the IHOP while this was occuring. When we returned to the center, it was as if nothing happened. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:26, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
          • Yeah, I also missed it too. We decided to skip the opening ceremonies so we saw it on the news and just laughed at everyone who had queued up for ages to get in to be evacuated. hehe — beeurd talk 13:21, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
            • I heard somebody talking about it the next day. Apparently at some point, they stopped people in the line for the Opening Ceremonies from entering the building because of this. But at the same time nobody came to pull those already inside back out, or even told us about it, and the Opening Ceremonies went on as normal. With the mayor of Los Angeles. You'd think that if there was a real threat, somebody would have told him.Crystorix 04:14, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
  • We were evacuated and didn't know what was going on, until someone stopped us from going down the elevator, stating there had been a bomb threat. My girlfriend freaked and so we left, and walked down to a nearby McDonald's and got a ride home. --Squishy Vic (talk)
