Currently, we have a little problem with the whole "homeworld" thing in userboxes. Some say that it's where the character was born - some where they were raised, and some where they lived for the majority of their lives. Well, why don't we do this - have a set standard for the homeworld thing...say, the location where they were raised, and have this next to the dates in the infoboxes. It could potentially add more relevant and useful info to the infobox, with very little clutter.
Per Fnlayson and Havac. We should also change the lines from "Date of Birth" and "Date of Death" to "Born" and "Died," since the lines would no longer restrict themselves to dates. jSarek 10:07, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

So with the birth and death worlds listed, homeworld becomes where the character lived (or most of the time)? -Fnlayson 15:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Basically. I would go with where they were raised though, since, say for Anakin Skywalker, you would consider Tatooine to be his homeworld, not Coruscant. .... 21:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Yea that's better. It just needs to be spelled out some where like the Infobox template page. -Fnlayson 22:02, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
As for the reason of death, I added that in because IMDb does it. Now, I'm not saying that we should follow their lead on everything, but it does provide a piece of critical info at a glance, without having to scroll through the prose and pick out the cause of death. .... 22:12, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, but it just seems like too much clutter. Plus, it would be very hard to decide what to put. Casualty of . . . the mission? Aggravated amphistaff wound? Force burnout? What about, say, Obi-Wan? Killed by Darth Vader? Killed by lightsaber wounds to the torso? Casualty of the Jedi Purge? Became one with the Force? It doesn't lend itself to condensation easily. Sometimes it is known that the character died in a certain source, but there is no date for it. I think it would be useful if those deaths could be put in so that it can be seen at a glance. --Eyrezer 07:36, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Havac: No, it would go like this: If they died in battle, or in a Mission, it would be just like I have posted for Anakin. But other wise, it would be Homicide, Natural Causes, *insert disease name here* or Slain in Combat, for one on one encounters. .... 23:23, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
