The result of the debate was Christmas is over anyway. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:03, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Following over from this discussion. I have created a CT to decide (quickly) whether or not Santa Claus should be the featured article on the December 25th 2006.

- Come on, have some spirit. Only on Dec. 25, and it won't be treated as a featured article afterward. Besides, we're not just trying to be funny.---Vladius Magnum(Clan Magnum)

- It's just stupid. Very un-Star Warsy and it's the bottom of humor. There's nothing funny about that, it's not even so worked out as Earth was. - TopAce 22:19, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Not even close to Earth. -- Riffsyphon1024 03:17, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- What? It's like...a stub. .... 03:29, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

- Per Fourdot. Featuring an article that small is a tad ludicrous. Atarumaster88

- No. I'd prefer unusual features to be restricted to April 1. We're not Uncyclopedia. - Sikon 09:54, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

- Oppose. Though I agree with the spirit in which it was presented, it's far too rough an article to be what we're displaying on the main page. Maybe next year it will be ready. jSarek 08:38, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- There really should be a barrier between the realworld and Star Wars like the Berlin Wall or the Great Wall of China. Probably the author was just pulling our legs a bit so don't take that article seriously. MyNz 09:16, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Wookiepedia doesn't have a featured article every day like Wikipedia. - 7:38pm, January 5, 2007 (EST)
- Never! KEJ 21:34, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

- One of the problems is that it's not really a long enough article. -- I need a name (Complain here) 22:10, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about FA, only because it would take away from out current FA. But perhaps a special holiday featured article, something in addition to, and not in place of, the current article. Maybe we could stick it on top of the "Star Wars films" section for a few days. -- Ozzel 21:49, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Shouldn't this thread have expired since it was aimed at featuring Santa on Christmas of 2006? —Xwing328(Talk) 21:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
