I was wondering, is cover art for books inherently canon? Such as the pictures of young dooku and qui-gon on the cover of legacy of the jedi? 05:52, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

  • In that case where it does not contradict existing canon, I would think so. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:57, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
    • If it is the final cover, the one that is used on the final product, not just preliminary art, then yes, it is canon, because it would have had to be approved by Lucasfilm Ltd. - JMAS 11:59, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Representations yes, depictions no. Otherwise the characters would never do anything but stand together dramatically and look off into the distance. CooperTFN 02:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
