I've heard that the combat style maul used was called butterfly stlye and was wondering if there is something to confirm or disconfirm —Unsigned comment by Darth HADES (talk • contribs).
- Do you have a source for that, or was it just something you heard? Only thing that springs to mind is Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy's Butterfly Attack for double-bladed saber users. DarthMRN 09:40, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, but I think one of the acrobatic moves that Ray Park does in the movie is called something with "butterfly" in wu shu. KEJ 09:53, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- The move Maul executes where he jumps sideways, with his legs higher than his head at one point is called a butterfly kick. It's a well known, and extremely hard, manoeuvre in Tae Kwon Do. Jasca Ducato Sith Council Sith Campaign 19:09, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
