Hello, a friend of mine and I are just writing a Star Wars story and we are about to write a trial scene. We were wondering: Is there death penalty in the New Republic?

Yes, there is a death penalty in the New Republic; however, it seems to be used only in certain highly politicized contexts. So far, we only know of two people to have been executed by the New Republic - Bevel Lemelisk, architect of the Death Stars; and Grand AdmiralOsvald Teshik, highest-ranking individual captured by the New Republic. jSarek 03:07, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome. :-) By the way, instead of typing out the Unsigned template, you should just add four tildes (~~~~) after your comments - that will create a signature without claiming you left your comment unsigned. jSarek 23:14, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Ah thanks. Let's give it a try. 188.8.131.52 21:14, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
