Celebration IV > Did anyone make the opening ceremonies. . .I didn't! Got stuck outside!
I think there are many fans that would like to know what took place during the opening ceremonies. My friend and I waited 2 hours until they started turning people away. So, I thought it would be a nice forum for fans that attended to write in. . .thanks! May the force be with you!!
- Well, I don't know how much of it was bad planning and how much was confusion due to the bomb scare, but the ceremonies felt disorganized and boring. It was a fun move to give everyone present a piece of birthday cake, but with the time it took to distribute it to the entire room, while absolutely nothing happed on stage, you almost fell asleep. It started good though, with Steve in an ewok costume scaring away the 501st and then claiming to have Lucas with him over a video link, which turned out to be the hand-puppet that you can see over at starwars.com.
