Since ET appears in Ep1, then we assume he is real? Since ET is also in "ET" and it has been explained why Star Wars is a fictional universe in the pedia, couldn't the first mission have influenced the person that created Star Wars because it takes place so many years after the featured character's death? Couldn't Yoda have been a legend, and others be just mentioned?
- ET's appearance in Ep1 was probably just a nod. Lucas and Spielberg are good friends, remember. Unit 8311 10:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Possibly, but, as far as I know, Lucas hasn't said it's "just a nod", so it's canon. And don't forget, E.T. recognised Yoda during his film, so, they're from the same universe. Jasca Ducato (Talk to the Dark Lord) 11:19, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- ET (the film) isn't part of Star Wars canon though. -- I need a name (Complain here) 15:24, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

- And for the record, Jasca, that's what SuperShadow said. I'll leave you to cleanse yourself. -- SFH 18:05, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- I don't need to cleanse myself, as I'm not going on what Mickey Suttle has said, i'm going on canon. {{SUBST:Template:User:Jasca Ducato/Sig}} 11:48, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
