  • I believe we should make out-of-universe style articles for game mechanics. Bly1993
    • Such as...? DarthMRN 22:14, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Why don't you make a /temp version in the sandbox and show us what you mean. Or use Wookieepedia:Requested articles and explain further. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 04:59, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Here. User:Bly1993/Bantha fodder (Star Wars: Battlefront). Bly1993
  • Aha. I think that could have some merit to it. Indeed it could. You have any other examples? You don't need to sandbox them, just tell me. DarthMRN 21:35, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Well, the non-canon battlefront units such as the Clone commander could be useful. Bly1993
      • This would definitely have a place on the Star Wars Battlefront wiki, possibly here. —Xwing328(Talk) 23:36, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
  • You'd need to change the category from Awards to Game Mechanics, and probably find a way to incorporate this into other articles so we didn't have an abundance of orphaned articles all the sudden (we already do) Wildyoda 23:41, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
  • I think we could definitely use articles on game mechanics that might be canon or mistaken for canon -- a sort of ambiguous canon where it might exist outside the context of gameplay and it might not. We'd probably want a template for it too. Havac 23:50, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Rather then changing the award cat to a game mechanic, it should be Star Wars: Battlefront awards Bly1993
      • Too specific, assuming we even allow this. —Xwing328(Talk) 02:08, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
  • It would be handy because we'd be able to add articles like Tech Specialist (which I do think needs some form of article). However, it could EASILY get out of hand. Primarch: A Dark Jedi rank just below "Dark Jedi Lord". Used in Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II as a determination of your Force level. Reborn Boss: The most powerful version of reborn that can be spawned in Jedi Outcast. Grenadier: Someone in this mode would utilize explosive weapons along with standard attacks; used in Knights of the Old Republic. If we include everything in game mechanics, this wiki might burst. -BaronGrackle 15:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
