How do polis massans breathe they have thick skin so i dont think its through their skin or do they just not have to breathe? —Unsigned comment by22.214.171.124 (talk • contribs).
I don't like George Lucas ever established that info... He just wanted some exotic-type aliens for the scene.
Exactly. Or maybe their faces are just masks of some sort. And Jasca, there are some creatures on earth in deep seas that either don't breathe at all or have a highly dimished need for breathing. So for all we know Polis Massans never evolved with a need for breathing. Unit 8311 16:07, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, many Gand don't breathe. Gonk(Gonk!) 22:10, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
No Unit 8311, everything breathes, but like I said abaove, it's just a matter of what. But i agree with what you said, they have a diminished need to breathe, which is likely what the Polis Massans and Gand have. Jasca Ducato(Talk to the Dark Lord) 11:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Not every species needs to breathe as most humanoids do (inhale some kind of gas). After all, this is science fiction! There could be lots of species that consume the substances they need to survive by eating them or absorb them from the soil through their feet. Maybe they just need sunlight, radiation or solar winds to keep their body working. --Craven 13:16, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
