I fail to see a difference between ale and beer. Ale is beer.
besides the fermentation process beer and ale are more or less the same thing Venator Cruiser
Almost correct. Lager and ale have different fermentation processes. They are both beer. Dark Helmet
Please don't bring real-world comparisons into the Knowledge Bank. If no canonical source says that ale and beer are or are not the same thing, then the only answer that should be given is "we don't know." Don't answer a question seeking canonical info with fanon real-world comparisons. If these comparisons are in fact canonical in-universe comparisons, then please provide the source(s) for them. What if the real world comparison eventually does appear within the universe? 188.8.131.52 22:56, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
If it does eventually appear in-universe, then it can be noted in the respective articles at that time. Until that does occur, it's fanon. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council ChambersTuesday, August 30, 2011, 03:37 UTC
Sorry no fanon intended. Just getting our definitions in order. You'll find "Ale" is in fact listed in a sub-category of the category of Beer. The link is at the bottom of that page.
As a point of fact, some brands call their beer "ale" and some call it "beer" just to differentiate. Ewok9007 18:42, August 31, 2011 (UTC)
