Do we know in what year Anakin Skywalker was knighted? I know it was during the Clone Wars, but has any source given the event a firm date? ~Savage

- Pre-TCW, Jedi Trial established that he was knighted just after the Battle of Praesitlyn in 20 BBY. The Clone Wars: Wild Space later claimed that he was knighted seven weeks after the Battle of Geonosis, which would seem to date his knighting to 22 BBY, because the old Clone Wars timeline placed the Battle of Geonosis several months before the end of the year. However, Star Wars Annual 2011 specifically dated Anakin's knighting to 21 BBY, so that would thus seem to be the current canonical date. --Jinzler 13:48, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
- I still strongly suspect that 21 BBY is apocryphal; that Annual 2011 made an error. All other TCW evidence points to the film taking place in 22 BBY, and we have a C-canon novel saying Anakin was knighted four weeks after Geonosis. - The Annual is as C-canon as anything else, and it's more recent, too. When the whole TCW mess is sorted out, a 4-weeks after Geonosis date won't work at all --- Jabiim, Rendili, and everything else from the old TCW multimedia series can't possibly fit within four weeks. - The Atlas keeps Rendili at 19 BBY, and effectively retcons it to be later post-Knighting (rather than immediately post-Knighting, as the dialogue implies). Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 17:10, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
