So, I just read the Bith article, and as a result discover that they exhale via skin....so...how do they use wind instruments? 198.53.253.177 04:51, July 24, 2014 (UTC)
- The article says that the Bith have one lung and exhale via their skin, but mentions nothing of inhaling. It is possible that their wind instruments operate through inhalation. Furthermore, if the Bith don't exhale the same way they inhale, then it means they might be able to play a wind instrument almost indefinitely (air would enter the lung, pretty much all the gases are absorbed and waste is expelled elsewhere, so the lung is maintaining about the same volume despite constant influx). I had a hunch of something like that, thanks for confirming. Now I am curious how the instrument's internals work...Well, that is another question for another time! Again, thanks! 198.53.253.177 16:48, July 24, 2014 (UTC)
- For the record, that was not at all a confirmation. Only that it could happen. They do have one lung, so it's a feasible approach. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 16:53, July 24, 2014 (UTC)
Even if it is a speculation, it sounds close enough to be accepted as valid reason, so I will just leave it here as is until another explanation arises.. 198.53.253.177 18:30, July 24, 2014 (UTC)
