Is there a canon name for the CP projector thing in battlefront?
He means the command posts from the Star Wars: Battlefront series. And, because those are just game mechanics, they have no canon name. In war, one does not stand within a few feet of a hologram so it changes colors, allowing your team members to spawn there. At least not yet. NaruHinaTalk 22:44, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, forget the question, I found it out in the battlefront wiki that it was called Spontaneous Teleportation Device that teleport units from capital ship from orbit to ground...
That's fanon, just so you know, and probably someone's poor idea of a joke. NaruHinaTalk 21:58, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
Teleportation is only possible in the star wars galaxy as a short distance force ability as seen in Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption, used by a Force adept on Coruscant. brightfur (Questions or comments) 03:00, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
It's all based on single-player spawning, so it's not even really teleportation. More like high-energy Spartii cloning drop-off points.. that's fanon btw. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:48, August 16, 2011 (UTC)
I must remind you guys that only the BF and BF2 story is canon. A similar spawn system is used in other shooters like Team Fortress 2. CPs are a simple idea on how to make it so that the player can spawn only in designated areas. brightfur (Questions or comments) 17:41, August 16, 2011 (UTC)
