Advanced Jedi Training Droid 6(Talk to my master) 00:05, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
When a youngling isn't selected to be a padawan, or a padawan doesn't pass the Trials and are sent to the Service Corps...do they have to leave their lightsabers? Or can they keep them as a memento? What about their non-lethal training lightsabers?
I get the Jedi Order doesn't like non-knights owning lightsabers, but at that point they know how to build their own lightsabers, but they need money to buy the crystals or free time to seek them.
Those who leave the Order entirely can save the cash or seek the crystals, but the Service Corps probably aren't paid much (if they are even paid) and probably don't enjoy holidays long enough to roam the Galaxy seeking crystals...
So the padawan who goes dark and becomes a slaver or pirate will have a lightsaber, but the one who stays at the Service Corps growing carrots or healing the sick won't have one...that mades the removal of the lightsaber kind of useless, because the folk who shouldn't have lightsabers are the more likely to get one, while the ones who can't afford to build one are probably quite harmless.--Brokendroid (talk) 10:08, February 8, 2015 (UTC)
Sanya doesn't seem to have a lot of skill with the Force, so maybe she was kicked out before being able to build a lightsaber and didn't own one of her own.--Brokendroid (talk) 10:09, February 8, 2015 (UTC)
